1997 – Elected as Corporator in Thane Municipal Corporation
2001 – Elected as Leader of house in Thane Municipal corporation
2002 – Elected to Thane Municiap Corporation the 2nd time
2004 – Elected to Maharashtra Legislative Assembly
2005 – Elected as District head of Party Shiv Sena
2009 – Elected to Maharashtra Legislative Assembly the second time
2014 – Elected to Maharashtra Legislative Assembly the third time and also Leader of opposition in the assembly. Also was made the Cabinet minister of PWD of the Maharashtra government

Also elected as leader of party in Assembly and also appointed as cabinet minister of Home affairs (Acting ) and along with it appointed as Cabinet minister of Urban Development and Public Works
2022 – Took oath as 20th Chief Minister of Maharashtra Government on 30 June

- 1980’s he Left his education ans started driving Autorickshaw Because his Family financial conditions were not that good . In that time He came in contact with Thane Shiv Sena District President Anand Dighe and Shiv sena supremo Mr. Bal thakeray and He finaly Joined Shiv Sena .
- It was in 2014 When he completed His graduation (BA) in Marathi and Politics Subjectswith 77.25 % Marks .Now Thats impressive .
- He visited Satara along with 11 Year old Son Dipesh and 7 year old Daughter Shubhada in June 2 , 2000. While having a boat ride , the kids unfortunately Drowned and lost lives .
- The Projects as Cluster Development and Thane Metro were the ones which were approved under his tenure . He also managed to Take action on Illegal Buildings in the Thane district .
- On June 21 Mr. Eknath Shnde alomng with Rebel MLA’s of the Shiv sena Government Were on their Way to Guwahati . They Stayed there for 8 Days as they were not happy with the work and Actions of The the Chief Minister Mr. Uddhav Thakeray ‘s run Maharashtra government .
